Tom Lehrich is the author of the series The Adventures of Backpacker Billy and Shave, a series about adventure and wildlife for young readers. Tom took his first backpacking trips at a young age and has enjoyed documenting wildlife and seeking adventure ever since. As an avid explorer, Tom travels up close with plants and animals to help storytell about the wonders of nature from the Negev Desert to the rainforests of the Pacific Northwest. 

Brody Cohen is the Backpacker Billy series illustrator.  Brody has a passion for creating and teaches painting and art. He has illustrated children’s books and cover designs for a broad range of books. Brody works with authors from around the world to produce fun and vivid images that bring the words on the page to life.
